Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

HairDiary ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

HairDiary stores all data you enter — including hair care logs, daily check-ins, product entries, photos, and notes — locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account.

We do not collect or store any personal data on our own servers. We have no access to your diary entries, photos, or personal information.

2. iCloud Sync

If you use iCloud sync (available with HairDiary Pro), your data is synced via Apple's iCloud service. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your iCloud data.

3. Analytics

The HairDiary app may use Apple's App Analytics to collect anonymised usage data (crash reports and aggregate usage statistics). This data does not identify you personally. This website does not use analytics by default.

4. In-App Purchases

Purchases (HairDiary Pro subscriptions) are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Children

HairDiary is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Contact

If you have questions about this privacy policy, please contact us at support@hairdiary.app or use the support form.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
